Sometimes I Think my Soul is Full of Weeds

Weeds - out of place plants, unwanted, a pest that interferes with the successful nurturing of the crop of livestock.

Stealing the beauty from the garden, corrupting the soil.

Sometimes I think my soul is full of weeds,

They have flowers on the ends, at least.

Sometimes I think my soul is full of weeds

They strip the paddock of its softness when they breed

They grow faster in the cold and take over when the garden is feeble.

It's so easy for weeds to spread their seed.

Sometimes it's easier to take double the dose of weed kill - even though the garden is extinguished too.

Sometimes I think my soul is full of weeds.

I really liked this one. Also not sure if it bothered you but I noticed a typo on the word “dose”. Hope you are well.
